Barclays congratulate the 2018 ProShare Award Winners

It was a great honour for Barclays to be the major sponsor for the first time at this year’s Annual ProShare Awards. As an administrator, we are now 6 years into our partnership with Solium and as we both grow, we continue to see the benefits this collaboration provides to our clients. This was highlighted in Aviva’s win, which showcased our new fully transactional mobile app.

As Gabbi said in her speech, our industry is constantly moving forward and the ProShare Awards provided an excellent way to showcase the breadth of innovation within the industry. The diverse range of companies who were shortlisted and won awards showed how strongly employee share ownership is being championed across the board.

As always, the ProShare team organised a fantastic evening. With hosting by Vernon Kay and a virtuoso performance from The Magnets, it was a truly memorable occasion.



We were particularly proud to see Elena Petrou from Aviva honoured for her contributions to Share Plans. Elena has worked tirelessly to create a greater awareness of Share Plans both within Aviva and our industry as a whole. She strives for innovation, which was evidenced by her determination to launch the brand new Barclays Mobile App with Aviva’s SAYE invitation this year; helping Aviva to win Most Effective use of Technology.
