ProShare SAYE & SIP Report Launch and Summer Social 2022
ProShare SAYE & SIP Report Launch and Summer Social
Tuesday 2nd August, generously hosted by Investec, Gresham Street, London.
Join us at Investec’s Gresham Street offices on the afternoon of Tuesday 2nd August for the launch of the annual ProShare SAYE & SIP Report. A panel of industry experts will discuss the report’s findings, look ahead to what we can expect over the year ahead, and answer your questions on these key employee share plans. This will be followed by our summer social with a drinks reception on the wonderful roof terrace where, weather permitting, we’ll have all your barbecue favourites.
Meet our panel
David Edwards - Head of Share Plans at NatWest Group
David joined NatWest in 2011 where he leads the colleague share plans team and advises on all legal, tax and regulatory issues which impact the bank’s employee equity arrangements.
David also has extensive experience of the practical aspects of operating and implementing large global equity plans, employee communications and a wide range of corporate actions.
Liz Pattison - Share Plan Manager, Legal & General
My 19 years in Share Plans began at Mourant back in 2003, and subsequently HBOS then Computershare via acquisition.
Having enjoyed the experience working at a plan provider, I decided to ‘jump the fence’ and start a new journey in-house with Legal & General in 2011.
As I step into my 11th year with L&G as Share Plan Manager, I'm still learning new things and am excited to contribute to plan improvements, and further global expansion in the near future.
Rachel Pilcher - Governance & Secretariat Director, Vistry Group
I’m a corporate lawyer and company secretary working at Vistry Group, a FTSE 250 company named Large Housebuilder of the Year 2021, with brands including Bovis Homes and Linden Homes.
I specialise in mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance and employee reward, including share plans. I was named as a DMJ Governance Hot 100 Dealmaker Award Winner for 2022.
I am passionate about raising awareness of mental wellbeing and a trained Mental Health First Aider.
Paul Scarborough - Director at PwC, Reward & Employment
Paul is a Director in the PwC Reward & Employment team with over 25 years’ experience advising many listed and non-listed domestic and international companies on the tax, legal, accounting, financial, structural, and operational aspects of employee share plans.
In his spare time Paul enjoys fly fishing, walking the dog and visiting local pubs (the latter two activities are often combined).
Discussion chaired by Murray Tompsett - Head of ProShare
Murray started his career in employee share plans way back in February 2005, initially in operations at a share plan administrator. A move to ‘front of house’ followed in 2010 and Murray worked with several service providers as a senior relationship manager.
Murray has been Head of ProShare since Autumn 2020 and is he committed to ensuring that the tangible benefits of employee share plans are promoted as widely as possible and continue to be understood and appreciated by those in positions of influence.
He also enjoys photographing Brutalist architecture and supping on hazy IPAs.
